How to Find Your TikTok Pixel

Step 1: Log in to TikTok Ads Manager

Step 2: Navigate to Assets

  • Click on "Assets" in the left sidebar.

  • Select "Events" from the dropdown.

  • Click on "Pixels" to see your existing Pixels.

Step 3: View Your Existing Pixels

  • Your Pixel names and codes will appear in the list.

  • To find details or copy code, click on the specific Pixel name.


How to Create a TikTok Pixel

Step 1: Access the Pixels Section

  • Follow the steps above to reach "Pixels" under Assets > Events.

Step 2: Click Create Pixel

  • Press the "Create Pixel" button.

Step 3: Name Your Pixel

  • Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Website Conversion Pixel").

Step 4: Choose Installation Method

  • Select Manual installation if you'd like to add the code directly to your website, or choose a partner platform if applicable.

Step 5: Copy the Pixel Base Code

  • TikTok will generate a code snippet. Click to copy it.

Step 6: Install the Pixel Code

  • Paste the code into the <head> section of your website's HTML on all pages you want to track.

Step 7: Set Up Events (Optional)

  • To track specific actions, add event codes or use the Event Setup Tool.

  • Use TikTok Pixel Helper (browser extension) to ensure it’s correctly installed and firing.

How to Get Your Facebook Pixel ID

Step 1: Access Events Manager

  1. Log in to your Facebook account.

  2. Go to Ads Manager.

  3. Click the main menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner.

  4. Select Events Manager from the "All Tools" list.

Step 2: Find Your Pixel ID

  1. In the left-hand menu, click Data Sources.

  2. Your pixels will appear in the main window.

  3. Locate your pixel's name and observe the Pixel ID displayed directly underneath it.

  4. Click on your pixel to view more details.

  5. The Pixel ID will also be visible on the Overview or Settings tab for that pixel.

  6. Click the Copy button next to the ID to copy it to your clipboard.

What If You Don’t Have a Pixel Yet?

  1. The Events Manager will prompt you to create one.

  2. Click Connect Data Sources, then select Web.

  3. Enter a name for your new pixel.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

  5. Once created, the pixel ID will be displayed in the Events Manager.

How to Find Your Google Analytics Tracking ID

Step 1: Sign in to Google Analytics

Step 2: Select Your Property

  • Select the website property for which you want the tracking ID from the account list.

Step 3: Access Admin Settings

  • Click the "Admin" gear icon in the lower-left corner.

Step 4: Find Tracking Info

  • Under the Property column, click "Tracking Info" > "Tracking Code".

Step 5: View Your Tracking ID

  • Your Tracking ID will be displayed at the top, formatted like UA-XXXXXXXXX-X.


How to Create a Google Analytics Property and Tracking ID

Step 1: Access Admin Settings

  • Log in to Google Analytics and click "Admin".

Step 2: Create a New Property

  • Under the Account column, click "Create Account" or select an existing account.

  • In the Property column, click "Create Property".

Step 3: Set Up Property Details

  • Enter your website name, URL, industry category, and reporting timezone.

Step 4: Get the Tracking ID

  • After creating the property, you will see a Tracking ID like UA-XXXXXXXXX-X.

  • Click on "Tracking Info" > "Tracking Code" to view it if needed.

Step 5: Install the Tracking Code

  • Copy the global site tag (gtag.js) code snippet provided.

  • Paste it into the <head> section of your website HTML on every page you want to track.

Step 6: Verify your Setup

  • Use Google Tag Assistant or real-time reports in Analytics to verify tracking is working correctly.
