The 3 SWAP Types & Guides On How To Set Up Your First One

We are proud to introduce a revolutionary new feature: SWAPs.

First read a brief description of each SWAP type and then check out a step-by-step tutorial for each one.

  1. GROW CONTACT LIST: This is used to collect data only. Choose what data to collect (Name & Email are required from fans, collecting Phone Numbers & Zip Codes is optional).

  2. GENERATE REVENUE: This is used to make money through a one-time-purchase (OTP) from fans for the content provided - you set the fixed price.

  3. GET FEEDBACK: This is a polling feature that allows fans to enter data to vote on anything from songs, pictures, and text.

New Users: Create a New Account
​Existing Users: Log into our Web App.

1. Choose Media to Offer

  • Upload a file

    • Drag a file into the window or click Browse to upload.

    • Maximum file size: 1GB

    • Supported formats: .mp4, .mov, .mpeg, .webm, .mp3, .wav, .ogg, .aac, .m4a

  • Link or Embed

    • YouTube

      1. Click the Share icon (arrow below the video).

      2. Select <> Embed.

      3. Click Copy in the bottom right corner.

    • Vimeo

      1. Click the Share icon (paper airplane in the video player — not the one below the title).

      2. Select the </> Embed option.

      3. Click Copy (the code should begin with <iframe …).

2. Add a Swap Title

  • Enter the title of your swap.

  • Examples: SONG TITLE, VIDEO TITLE, EARLY ACCESS TO “X”, PREMIERE “X”.

3. Include a Swap Description (Optional)

  • Toggle Description on to add details about the media.

  • Default is off until toggled on (blue).

4. Set an End Date (Optional)

  • Toggle End Date on to choose month/day/year.

  • Leave off if undecided — you can end it anytime in the Dashboard.

  • Example: End early access when the single releases on DSPs.

5. Limit Fan Access (Optional)

  • Toggle Limit Access on to set a maximum number of fans.

  • Useful for creating exclusivity or FOMO.

6. Choose a Cover Image

  • A placeholder image may be pulled automatically from your media.

  • Recommended: Upload a custom image for the header.

  • This is the first impression fans will see.

  • Ideal Dimensions: 1080 × 1080 pixels (square format recommended).

7. Decide What Info Fans Provide

  • Required: Email and Name.

  • Optional: Toggle on Phone Number and/or Zip Code collection.

  • Note: More data is valuable, but requiring extra fields may reduce sign‑ups.

  • Benefit: Fans who provide phone/zip are highly engaged and easier to reach.

8. Save & Publish

  • Your swap is now live and ready to share.

  • Click the Copy URL icon (two stacked papers) to share via:

    • IG Story

    • CRM platform (email or SMS)

    • Link in Bio

  • Click Continue Editing to adjust in real time.

  • Click Exit to Dashboard to explore more features, including launching your own community with the data you’ve gathered.

  • Toggle Description on to add details about the media.

  • Prices are in USD — more currencies coming soon.

  • Poll Question

    • Type the question you want fans to answer.

    • Examples: Which demo is your favorite? Which artwork do you prefer? Which city should I play in next?

  • Poll Type Choose one of the following formats:

    • Image Poll

      • Best for merch designs, artwork, logos.

      • Title: Enter the name of the image.

      • Upload Image: Click the image icon to add artwork.

      • Click + Add Option to add more images (limit: 5).

    • Audio Poll

      • Best for demos or song versions.

      • Title: Enter the name of the song.

      • Song: Click the music icon to upload (.mp3, .wav, .mp4 supported).

      • Cover Art: Click the image icon to upload artwork.

      • Click + Add Option to add more songs (limit: 5).

    • Text Poll

      • Best for general feedback (cities, merch ideas, etc).

      • Title: Enter the first possible answer.

      • Click + Add Option to add more answers (limit: 5).
