Pre-Save Swaps on Grouped are powered by Feature.fm, our pre-save technology partner. Feature.fm handles the pre-save itself, and Grouped connects it to your Swap, reward, and channel. To make that work, your Grouped account is linked to a Feature.fm account. When you create your first Pre-Save Swap, Grouped asks whether you already have one. This article walks you through both options: connecting an account you already have, or letting Grouped create a free one for you.
Step 1: Choose Your Option
When you create your first Pre-Save Swap, a window titled Have a FeatureFM account? appears. Choose one of the two options:
Yes, please connect an existing account: Choose this if you already use Feature.fm. Enter the email address you use to log in to Feature.fm.
No, create a free account for me: Choose this if you are new to Feature.fm. Grouped creates a free account for you using the email on your Grouped account.
Click Connect, then keep setting up your Swap as usual. You do not need to finish anything on Feature.fm before you publish, and you can share your pre-save link as soon as your Swap is live.

ā ļø Heads up: If you connect an existing account, enter the exact email address on that account. Grouped does not check that an account exists for that email. If Feature.fm cannot find a match, it creates a new account for that email instead.
ā¹ļø Note: You only see this window once. After your first connection, Grouped uses it for every Pre-Save Swap you create.
Step 2: Accept the Invitation From Feature.fm
After you click Connect, Feature.fm sends an invitation to your email address. Open it and accept to link your Feature.fm account to your Grouped workspace.
If you connected an existing account
Accept the invitation and log in as usual. The Grouped workspace is added to your account as a new workspace. It sits alongside your original workspace and does not replace or change it. Both workspaces use the same login, but they do not share data with each other.

If you created a new account
Accept the invitation and follow the sign-up screens on Feature.fm:
Click I'm an Artist
Complete the sign-up form
Click Add Artist Manually, then Save & Get Started
Click Continue to Site, then Go to Dashboard

ā¹ļø Note: The invitation is the only email you will get about connecting your account. Other emails, like plan or Future Save updates, come from Feature.fm directly. If you'd rather not receive them, you can unsubscribe with Feature.fm.
Step 3: You're All Set
Your connection is saved, so every Pre-Save Swap you publish uses it automatically.
