Once your Feature.fm account is connected, your Pre-Save Swap information is split between Grouped and Feature.fm. This article covers where to find everything, how to get your fans' emails, and how to get the most out of Future Saves.
What Lives Where
In Grouped: Your Swap link, pre-save stats, Swap reward, fan comments, exportable fan data, and campaign settings
In Feature.fm: Your full smart link settings for advanced configuration, your delivery report, and advanced insights
If you want to change an advanced setting on your pre-save landing page, you can do that from your connected Grouped workspace on Feature.fm.
â ď¸ If you connected an existing account, everything you built before connecting, including the Future Saves you collected, stays in your original Feature.fm workspace.
Where to Find Your Pre-Save Fans
When fans pre-save, Feature.fm asks if they want to share their info. Fans who agree come into Grouped automatically with their name and email, so you can follow up with them like any other fan.
You can find them in:
Your Swap's Fans tab: Pre-save fans show a blue Feature.fm status, along with their country and birthdate when available
Your exports: Both your Swap export and your Contacts export include them
Your Google Sheet: If your Swap is connected to Google Sheets, they are added there too
âšď¸ Note:
Grouped checks Feature.fm for new pre-saves every hour, so a new fan can take up to an hour to show up.
Only fans who agree to share their info on the pre-save page come through with their name and email. If a fan pre-saves and also signs up through your Swap, they show with their Grouped status.

How to Find Your Grouped Workspace in Feature.fm
Your pre-save fans come into Grouped automatically, but your pre-save links also live in a separate Grouped workspace on Feature.fm. Head there if you want to check your delivery report or advanced insights, or download your audience list straight from Feature.fm:
Go to Feature.fm and log in with the email address you connected
Click your profile icon in the top right corner
In the dropdown, select the separate workspace for your Grouped pre-saves
Click the Smartlinks tab
Find the pre-save link you want and click into its Insights
Scroll down to the Audience section to see the fans who came through, including their email if they shared it
To download the full list, click Export at the top of the Audience section to get a CSV file
Tracking Pixels
If you add a Meta Pixel ID when you set up your Pre-Save Swap, Grouped adds it to your pre-save page on Feature.fm, since that is the first page fans land on. In Meta, these events show up as Feature.fm events (like a page view), not Grouped events.
Other pixels, like Google, TikTok, and Spotify Ads, are not supported yet.
How Future Saves Work
Future Saves let fans opt in once so your future releases are saved to their library automatically. Fans who opt in through a Pre-Save Swap are collected in your Grouped workspace on Feature.fm.
Spotify recently changed how long a fan's authorization lasts. It now expires after six months, which means a Spotify Future Save is not permanent. If a fan's authorization lapses, they may miss a release until they renew it.
Feature.fm is working to keep fans covered by:
Emailing fans before their authorization expires so they can renew it
Emailing them again once it has expired
Enrolling them in a re-authorization series
Building a dedicated Future Save page where fans can renew (coming soon)
Sharing coverage across artists, so a fan who renews for any artist on Feature.fm is covered for every artist on the platform
Future Saves are still a strong way to keep fans connected to your releases, but you should expect some gaps. For the full picture, see this article from Spotify.
â ď¸ Heads up: Future Saves require the Starter Plan. If you want to try it out, you can start a free 14-day trial.
Keep Your Future Saves Together on Every Release
This section is for artists who connected an existing Feature.fm account. If you selected "No, create a free account for me", all of your Future Saves are already in one place and you can skip this.
When you connect an existing account, you have two workspaces on Feature.fm: your original one and your Grouped one. The two workspaces do not share data.
Future Saves you collected before connecting stay in your original workspace, and fans who opt in through a Pre-Save Swap are collected in your Grouped workspace.
This means your existing Future Saves do not apply to your Pre-Save Swap on their own.
It only takes a few seconds to bring them together. Each time you publish a Pre-Save Swap with Future Saves turned on, complete these steps:
Log in to Feature.fm and switch to your original workspace
Create a pre-save smart link for the same release, using the same UPC or ISRC as your Pre-Save Swap
Save the link
That's it. Once the link is saved, Feature.fm matches the two links by UPC or ISRC, and Future Saves from both workspaces are applied to your release.
â
â ď¸ Heads up: If you skip this step, fans who opted in to Future Saves in your original workspace will not get this release saved automatically.
You're All Set
You now know where everything lives, where to find your pre-save fans, and how to keep your Future Saves working for every release.
