I Think I Have Two Accounts

Why you might have a second Grouped account, and how to get back to the one with your memberships.

If you logged in and your memberships, purchases, or messages are missing, you may be signed in to a different Grouped account than the one you joined with. This usually happens when you sign in a different way than you did the first time, like with a different email, Google, or Sign in with Apple's Hide My Email setting.

Check which account you're signed in to

  1. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner.

  2. Select Account Details from the dropdown.

  3. Look at the Email field.

If the email isn't the one you used when you joined, you're in a second account. The sections below explain the most common reasons.

You signed up with a different email

Each email address can have its own Grouped account. If you joined with one email and later signed in with another, Grouped created a new account for the new one.

Try logging in with any other email addresses you might have used. If you used Continue with Google when you joined, sign in that way again so you get the same Google email.

You used Apple's Hide My Email

When you use Continue with Apple with Hide My Email turned on, Apple shares a private relay address with Grouped instead of your real email. These addresses end in @privaterelay.appleid.com.

Grouped sees that relay address as a new email, so it creates a new account. Your original account, with your memberships, is still there under your real email address.

You used to sign in with your phone number

Signing in with a phone number is no longer available. If you created your account with a phone number, contact our support team at support@grouped.com with the phone number you used, and we'll add an email to your account so you can sign in.

Get back to your original account

  1. Click Log out in the bottom-left corner of the menu, just above your name.

  2. On the login page, sign in the way you did when you first joined: Continue with Google, Continue with Apple, or the same email address.

  3. If you entered your email, we'll send you a one-time code. Enter the code to sign in.

Once you're in, click your profile picture and select Subscriptions to confirm your memberships are there.

Avoid this next time

💡 Tip: Always sign in with the same email or method you used to create your account. If you prefer Sign in with Apple, choose Share My Email instead of Hide My Email so Apple shares your real address.
